Metzeler Roadtec 01

Today I got around to getting a pair fitted.
I'm a fan of 50/50 tyres like Mitas e-07 & Heidenau K60 and 80/20 tyres like Anakee 2's. Going for road tyres was a bit of a departure from the norm for me but I was shedding my usual choices keeping up Mrs GSX14.
Having had Michelin PR1's on my Wee and a series of Anakee 2's and the BT023 on the GSX as the basis for comparison.

First impressions are good.
Stable at all speeds, smooth as silk and within 10 miles I was as confident with them as with a trusty pair of Anakee 2's that I've used a fair few pairs of over the years.
Fast warm up and neutral turn into corners.
So far 50miles on a mix of roads and all is good on the warm dry roads today.
I'll post up more info as the mileage goes on them.

After a brief run home before heading back out to scrub them in.
